Summary

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud/Site Reliability Engineering
  • Strong AWS expertise, including security, performance tuning, and cost management
  • Hands-on experience with DataDog, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
  • Proficiency in automation & scripting (Python, Bash)
  • Solid grasp of networking, cloud security, and CI/CD best practices
  • Proven leadership & mentoring skills to guide teams through complex challenges
  • Excellent communication skillsβ€”able to explain technical concepts clearly

Responsibilities

  • Manage AWS infrastructure to ensure security, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Improve monitoring & observability using DataDog for proactive issue detection
  • Empower developers by standardizing and commoditizing infrastructure, making it available via self-service methods like GitOps, APIs, UIs, etc
  • Enhance CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Github and AWS services for smooth deployments
  • Lead containerization efforts with Kubernetes to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Optimize cloud performance by tuning resources for better speed and cost savings
  • Troubleshoot complex issues quickly across AWS environments
  • Implement security best practices to meet compliance and data protection standards
  • Stay up-to-date on cloud technologies and recommend improvements
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of learning and collaboration
  • Work cross-functionally to build AWS-based solutions that meet business needs
