Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud/Site Reliability Engineering
- Strong AWS expertise, including security, performance tuning, and cost management
- Hands-on experience with DataDog, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Proficiency in automation & scripting (Python, Bash)
- Solid grasp of networking, cloud security, and CI/CD best practices
- Proven leadership & mentoring skills to guide teams through complex challenges
- Excellent communication skillsβable to explain technical concepts clearly
Responsibilities
- Manage AWS infrastructure to ensure security, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Improve monitoring & observability using DataDog for proactive issue detection
- Empower developers by standardizing and commoditizing infrastructure, making it available via self-service methods like GitOps, APIs, UIs, etc
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Github and AWS services for smooth deployments
- Lead containerization efforts with Kubernetes to improve efficiency and scalability
- Optimize cloud performance by tuning resources for better speed and cost savings
- Troubleshoot complex issues quickly across AWS environments
- Implement security best practices to meet compliance and data protection standards
- Stay up-to-date on cloud technologies and recommend improvements
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of learning and collaboration
- Work cross-functionally to build AWS-based solutions that meet business needs
