Requirements
- Proven experience in the administration, configuration, and support of Microsoft Windows as a platform at scale
- Deep understanding of Active Directory, SCCM, PKI, DNS, and leveraging Powershell scripts for its management and automation
- Experience leveraging InTune and AzureAD
- Experience using infrastructure-as-code and configuration-as-code methodologies to manage Microsoft Windows platforms
- Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies with a strong desire to automate everything
- You have experience using Git and CI/CD to improve the quality and release cadence of changes
- Experience managing Windows-based infrastructure in public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- You maintain a security mindset when engineering solutions to complex problems
- Comfortable with scripting and programming languages such as Powershell and Python
- The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, own and drive projects effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Empathy for end users and a desire to provide a quality user experience
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver components of Microsoft Windows-based infrastructure to improve availability, scalability, and latency Cruisers rely on everyday
- Implement solutions to help secure and scale our Microsoft Windows configuration management for services such as Active Directory, SCCM, PKI, etc with prioritization on automation
- Identify opportunities to enable self-service and workflow automation to support the team with day-to-day requests
- Define and improve observability capabilities related to Windows-based infrastructure
- Develop and maintain configuration policies and compliance enforcement across IT
- Provide tier-3, 4 support for Microsoft systems as an escalation path from IT Operations or Security
- Own and report on the health of the Microsoft Windows Server environment, from patch coverage to performance baselines
- Collaborate with various technical and non-technical teams to translate requirements into components of service architecture
- Participate in on-call rotation
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with GCP and leveraging cloud concepts to deploy Windows-based workloads
- Experience integrating workflow automation tools (ex. Rundeck, StackStorm) to manage Windows-based infrastructure
- You have experience deploying and/or managing virtualization (MS Hyper-V or VMWare) platforms
- Experience leveraging InTune for cloud based observability and configuration management of Client platforms
- You have managed Windows with Ansible in addition to standard Windows-built configuration management tools
- You have experience using HashiCorp tools (Vault, Terraform) in Windows-based environment
- Experience developing production level services in enterprise environments
