Monad is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and architect services for their data platform. The role is fully remote, with yearly offsites. The candidate should have at least 5 years of backend engineering experience, mastery in at least one language (preferably Go), and a pragmatic approach to engineering. The salary range is $150,000 - $250,000.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in backend engineering
• Mastery of at least one language (Ideally Go)
• Understanding of the tradeoffs that fast moving startups need to make, and a willingness to be flexible in your approach to building services
• A pragmatic approach to engineering
• A bias towards action; excited by autonomy

Responsibilities

Architect and build services and systems that lie at the heart of Monad's data platform

Preferred Qualifications

Willingness to learn Go if not already experienced
