Senior Software Engineer - Site Experience

Summary

Join Pantheon's Site Experience Team as a Senior Software Engineer and enhance the core software used by our customers. You will improve Pantheon’s integration with WordPress and Drupal, focusing on top-tier performance, stability, and user experience. Build new services and maintain existing ones using technologies like Go, Python, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Run. This remote position, based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, requires 5-10 years of experience with complex distributed systems and familiarity with Go and Kubernetes. Requirements

• Passion for continuous learning on a diverse technical stack
• Desire to build new features and push the capabilities of the product forward
• Capacity to work carefully and meticulously, to ensure products are reliable and well tested, and deployments are stable
• Good writing skills, to contribute to technical documentation
• Ability to work well with cross-functional teams
• 5-10 years of experience working with complex distributed systems
• Familiarity with Go and Kubernetes
• Demonstrated capability to work with diverse technical stacks
• RESTful and Graphql APIs, databases and revision control systems

Responsibilities

• Enhance Pantheon’s integration with WordPress and Drupal, ensuring our platform delivers top-tier performance, stability, and user experience for developers and content creators
• Work on building new services and maintaining existing ones that keep Pantheon at the cutting edge of web development
• Work on a wide variety of technologies, including Go, Python, Kubernetes and Google Cloud Run

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Drupal and/or WordPress
