Senior Supply Chain Manager

Join AUTO1 Group's Production Department as a Senior Supply Chain Manager and lead contract negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and analyze supplier data to optimize the supply chain. You will identify and integrate new top suppliers, develop a European roadmap for cost savings, and oversee the improvement of procurement processes. Requirements

• Proven experience in the area of procurement from a start-up, a management consultancy, a dynamic, fast-growing company or from the automotive sector with 5+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain management
• Excellent communication and contract negotiations skills
• Strong hands-on experience building procurement processes
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to draw conclusions from data
• You are pragmatic, solution-oriented, highly organised and can work independently as well as in a team
• Fluent English skills are a must, German would be a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier relationships to maximize value
• Analyze supplier data, products, lead times, and pricing to identify optimization potential
• Identify and integrate new top suppliers to to build a superior supplier network serving all production centers in Europe
• Develop and execute a European roadmap for costs savings and other supplier network improvements
• Oversee and lead the improvement of all direct and indirect procurement processes with the Production department including system implementation, ongoing analysis, budgeting, and cross-border benchmarking
• Manage cross-functional, data-driven projects and collaborate with stakeholders including top management
