Senior System Engineer

Requirements

• You've completed training or studies in the IT sector or comparable qualification
• You have sound knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments, database systems, operating system management, Active Directory and ideally basic knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, M365)
• You have experience in dealing with monitoring and ticket systems
• Independent, structured way of working and high customer orientation
• You have strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team and a solution-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and further develop IT infrastructures (on-premises & cloud-based) in the areas of Linux, Microsoft, databases
• Analysis and troubleshooting (3rd level support)
• Automation of recurring tasks (e.g. with Bash, PowerShell, Ansible or similar)
• Close cooperation with customers and internal teams to continuously improve our services
• Documentation, monitoring and performance optimization of the systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications (e.g. LPIC, MCSA, MCSE, ITIL)
• Experience with IT security, backup strategies and disaster recovery
• Interest in DevOps approaches and scripting
