Summary

Join Pismo's team of Engineering Leaders and drive forward the technology architecture, strategy, and roadmap. Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, product, engineering, and key customers to support teams and build a deep understanding of products, sales pipelines, and customer challenges. Prioritize workload by balancing immediate needs with long-term technology strategy. While primarily focused on defining the future of Pismo's platform, address tactical needs for the engineering community and customer demands. Lead the development of the overall technology architecture, addressing performance, scalability, security, resilience, and cost optimization. Collaborate with other teams to address critical technical challenges, provide guidance, and educate engineers on best practices.

Requirements

  • You must be based in Austin/Texas
  • Experience with Cloud Platform; System Development; Complex/large-scale system experience

Responsibilities

  • Leads the development of the overall technology architecture, addressing performance, scalability, security, resilience and cost optimization
  • Collaborates with other teams to address critical technical challenges, provide guidance and educate engineers on the best practices
  • Work alongside engineering teams to review critical/ significant changes and how it impacts the product and platform architecture
  • Understands the developments in the technology landscape to embrace new ideas that improve our product and customer experience by creating strategies to adopt such technologies
  • May develop proof of concept to address current and future needs of our customers
  • Publish papers, blogs, present in internal and public conferences to demonstrate Pismo’s technology leadership, and innovative approach to solving hard engineering problems
  • Implement company wide learning opportunities via brown-bag sessions, All-Hands, bootcamps and hackathons

Preferred Qualifications

Desirable experience with technical depth/breadth; FSI/Banking systems
