Summary

Join Nagarro, a leading digital product engineering company, as a Backup System Engineer. This role involves analyzing, optimizing, and developing our backup infrastructure and virtualization environments. You will contribute to the further development of our highly available backup infrastructure, design IT landscapes and processes, and participate in projects related to data center migration, virtualization, automation, and cloud computing. You will also provide 2nd and 3rd level support to existing customers. The position can be filled at one of our locations or remotely throughout Germany. Requirements

• Have completed training as an IT specialist or have a degree in (business) informatics
• Have professional experience as a system engineer and knowledge in the following topics: DELL/EMC Power Protect, DELL/EMC-Networker, DELL/EMC Data-Domain, DELL/EMC Elastic Cloud Storage, Backup-to-tape, Veeam or similar Backup Solutions in Hybrid-Cloud Scenarios
• Have a solution/process-oriented and analytical mindset, and strong methodological skills
• Possess distinct customer orientation and the ability to work in a team as well as a convincing appearance
• Speak fluent German (B2) and good English (B1)

Responsibilities

• Analyze, optimize and develop our Backup-Infrastructure and virtualization environments
• Be involved in the further development of our highly available Backup-Infrastructure landscape and design IT landscapes and IT processes
• Be involved in project topics: Data center migration, virtualization, automation and cloud computing
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support in infrastructure for our existing customers and advise their departments on technical problems
