Senior Technical Consultant Backup Infrastructure

You will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and developing backup infrastructure and virtualization environments. Requirements

• Have completed training as an IT specialist or have a degree in (business) informatics
• Have professional experience as a system engineer and knowledge in the following topics: DELL/EMC Power Protect, DELL/EMC-Networker, DELL/EMC Data-Domain, DELL/EMC Elastic Cloud Storage, Backup-to-tape, Veeam or similar Backup Solutions in Hybrid-Cloud Scenarios
• Have a solution/process-oriented and analytical mindset, and strong methodological skills
• Have distinct customer orientation and the ability to work in a team as well as a convincing appearance
• Speak fluent German (B2) and good English (B1)

Responsibilities

• Analyze, optimize and develop our Backup-Infrastructure and virtualization environments
• Be involved in the further development of our highly available Backup-Infrastructure landscape and design IT landscapes and IT processes
• Be involved in the following project topics: Data center migration, virtualization, automation and cloud computing
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support in infrastructure for our existing customers and advise their departments on technical problems
