Senior Technical Content Manager

Summary

Join Censys as a Senior Technical Content Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping how we communicate our cybersecurity expertise to diverse audiences. This role is 75% content creation and editing, focusing on cybersecurity reports, white papers, blogs, and more, and 25% content strategy and collaboration. You will work closely with cybersecurity SMEs and technical staff to create engaging content based on research findings. The position is fully remote within the United States and reports to the VP of Product Marketing. Requirements

• 5+ years’ proven experience in content strategy or editorial roles—preferably in a similar role for a high growth company
• Understanding of security concepts, including SOC, IR, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Management
• Ability to stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, emerging technologies and threats
• Establish editorial standards and ensure compliance with brand guidelines
• Maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality across all published materials
• Incorporate a deep understanding of the threat landscape to provide context and relevance in editorial content
• Ability to craft engaging, accurate, and concise content tailored to both technical and general audiences
• Proficiency working with CMS systems and other tools to post, share, and measure content performance

Responsibilities

• Develop editorials that clearly communicate complex cybersecurity topics
• Write, edit, and publish detailed cybersecurity reports, white papers, and blog content based on research findings
• Leverage data and insights to measure content performance across all channels and refine content strategies
• Drive Censys’ content calendar to ensure consistent cross functional contribution and weekly delivery of content
• Contribute and manage social media content to extend the reach of our technical content and announcements. This may include video features on our Youtube channel too
• Provide strategic content to support marketing campaigns, events, and launches and marketing campaigns
• Collaborate with security researchers and threat analysts to translate technical insights into engaging content

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to leverage Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to accelerate content development and quality assurance
• Experience developing effective educational content that simplifies concepts, making it easier for security teams to discover, adopt, and achieve their goals using Censys
• Experience sourcing and working with external agencies, vendors, individual freelancers, and budgets
• Comfortable working in a fully remote or distributed organization
• Self-starter who is proactive, independent, and eager to identify new content opportunities aligned with company priorities
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Fueled by curiosity; you are a lifelong learner who figures stuff out
• Understands the buyer journeys for B2B cybersecurity executives and practitioners and the types of content resonate at each stage
