Senior Technical Engineer, Remote - The Philippines

Summary

The job is for a Level 3 MSP/Technical Engineer at a leading managed IT Managed Services Provider company in Sydney. The role involves end-to-end project delivery, working with solutions experts, and maintaining best practice environments across hybrid infrastructure, hosting, cloud, networking, hardware & software procurement, unified communications, and cybersecurity.

Requirements

• Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or any related field
• Previous role with an IT&T System Integrator, Managed Service Provider, or similar organization
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as level 3 as an MSP/Technical Engineer in a global environment
• Skills/Tools/Technologies needed: experience in end user support, Windows Server, Azure and O365. In depth exposure across technical infrastructure from desktop to server, LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, mail servers, databases, etc
• Experience with cybersecurity products/principles and penetration testing are highly preferred

Responsibilities

• End to end project delivery to deploy solutions to customers in the SMB market
• Working with highly experienced solutions experts to maintain best practice environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry experiences working within AU Managed Services Provider Company
• ITIL, Microsoft, Cybersecurity Certifications are desirable
