Summary

You will mentor teams, manage program budgets, and provide executive-level communications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in health IT program leadership within government agencies and a deep understanding of federal security frameworks.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Must have 10+ years of experience leading health IT programs with a minimum of 5 years specifically overseeing government health deployments in secure perimeters
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex programs within federal health or related government agencies
  • Proven track record managing programs in compliance with federal security and regulatory frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST, HIPAA)
  • Experience directly engaging with and advising senior government stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct large-scale AWS technology deployments for federal healthcare programs, ensuring timely delivery, quality execution, and compliance with stringent government security standards
  • Collaborate directly with federal clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps aligned to mission-critical objectives
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure modernization, architecture strategies, and operational transformation leveraging AWS services
  • Ensure adherence to federal cybersecurity standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, CMMC), compliance, and governance frameworks
  • Mentor, coach, and provide guidance to project managers, technical leads, and cross-functional teams
  • Manage program budgets, resource allocation, risk management, and vendor relationships
  • Provide executive-level communications, reporting, and presentations to senior government leadership and internal executives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Technology Management, Business Administration, or related advanced degree
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (Professional)
  • PMP Certification or similar program/project management credentials
  • Familiarity with Healthcare IT standards and interoperability frameworks such as FHIR, HL7, or ONC mandates
  • Prior experience successfully leading multi-vendor, multi-team collaborations in federally secured environments
