Summary
The job is for a Technical Program Manager at Cavnue, a company specializing in roadway infrastructure for automated transportation. The candidate will manage hardware-centric technical programs across various stages, partner with cross-functional teams, and have 3+ years of experience in Technical Program Management/Engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in relevant technical field (preferably Engineering-focused, e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Systems, or Computer) or equivalent practical experience
- Self-motivated, creative, and proactive to drive tight schedules and work in time-sensitive environments
- Skilled at developing and maintaining buy-in around multi-phase hardware product timelines and delivery plans
- Expertise with project management tools, software, and best practices
- Detailed knowledge of product development and new production introduction lifecycle and processes
- Ability to see the big picture across teams, timelines, and inputs, to ensure hardware development meets broader system-level program delivery
- Ability to be a technical thought partner for hardware engineering team members, discussing trade-offs, technical designs, and risks
- Ability to synthesize and distill often complex and competing inputs into key themes and recommendations
- Strong focus on execution
- 3+ years of Technical Program Management / Engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on technical experience (Hardware and/or Systems Engineering) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in automotive, ITS / civil engineering, or other โphysical & digitalโ hardware product development strongly preferred
- Experience leading development and launch of a major new product introduction program
- Familiarity with key hardware technologies for a standard โautonomy stackโ (perception sensors, compute, networking, mounts, etc.)
- Early-stage start-up experience is a plus
