Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in relevant technical field (preferably Engineering-focused, e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Systems, or Computer) or equivalent practical experience
  • Self-motivated, creative, and proactive to drive tight schedules and work in time-sensitive environments
  • Skilled at developing and maintaining buy-in around multi-phase hardware product timelines and delivery plans
  • Expertise with project management tools, software, and best practices
  • Detailed knowledge of product development and new production introduction lifecycle and processes
  • Ability to see the big picture across teams, timelines, and inputs, to ensure hardware development meets broader system-level program delivery
  • Ability to be a technical thought partner for hardware engineering team members, discussing trade-offs, technical designs, and risks
  • Ability to synthesize and distill often complex and competing inputs into key themes and recommendations
  • Strong focus on execution
  • 3+ years of Technical Program Management / Engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on technical experience (Hardware and/or Systems Engineering) strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in automotive, ITS / civil engineering, or other โ€œphysical & digitalโ€ hardware product development strongly preferred
  • Experience leading development and launch of a major new product introduction program
  • Familiarity with key hardware technologies for a standard โ€œautonomy stackโ€ (perception sensors, compute, networking, mounts, etc.)
  • Early-stage start-up experience is a plus
