Summary
Join Everbridge as a Senior Technical Program Manager, Atlassian Systems! This hybrid role combines Atlassian administration (50%) with program management (50%). You will collaborate across teams, optimize processes, and be the subject matter expert for Jira and Confluence. Requirements
- Must reside in BC, QC, or ON
- 5+ years experience as a seasoned Jira user who has used scripts and tools to automate and enable yourself, or as a hands-on Atlassian administrator
- At least 3+ years experience managing complex programs
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science or a related technical role or equivalent experience
- Strong scripting experience working with APIs and Atlassian tools (e.g., Script Runner and Automation for Jira etc.)
- Experience with Python, SQL and REST APIs
- Strong background in Agile Scrum, Kanban, and various Agile methodologies
- Ability to prioritize and work independently to ensure timely resolution of issues
- A forward-looking attitude for troubleshooting, future state planning, and best practices
- Ability to anticipate challenges, analyze root causes, and implement solutions that benefit both users and system maintainability
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and build relationships across the organization, bridge gaps between teams, and successfully influence without authority
- Work hands-on with all teams and leadership to optimize cross-functional team processes, often working with ambiguity to drive results
- Partner with engineering, product management, and other internal stakeholders to encourage seamless collaboration among these teams
- Be the subject matter expert for Jira and Confluence (cloud) and associated plugins and tools
- Manage all aspects of Atlassian tooling, including workflows, screen schemes, automation, JQL, reporting, permissions, add-ons, and integrations
- Using your strong Agile Scrum knowledge, understand stakeholder use cases and determine ways to optimize and improve setup and workflows
- Build, develop and maintain custom integrations (out-of-box and custom scripts) with 3rd party applications
- Investigate and troubleshoot user reported issues with Atlassian
- Create and maintain documentation on internal Atlassian product configurations, automation, and processes
Preferred Qualifications
- You have dabbled with programming languages (eg. Java, C#, JavaScript, etc)
