Requirements

  • 8+ years of scientific or engineering experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects with stakeholders across a broad organization and managing tight timelines
  • Experience with the product life cycle: concept through development, launch preparation, and go-to-market, plus deprecations and end-of-life
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills paired with the ability to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Equally comfortable and confident explaining your analyses and recommendations to business leaders as you are discussing technical trade-offs with engineers
  • Experience with organizational change management, listening to your audience and meeting their current state with a plan for incremental change
  • Ability to balance the tactical day-to-day with forward-looking improvements to scale operational efficiencies

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as engineering, product, marketing, and customer support for major releases
  • Identify and translate business and technical requirements across stakeholders with communication clarity
  • Scope and manage program dependencies; identify risks and proactively mitigate them; facilitate decision making through data-driven analysis and healthy debate
  • Identify, design, implement, and refine processes for collaboration and communication; own change management across teams
  • Drive for results by continuously improving ways of working and processes, now and for the future
  • Be collaborative by aligning stakeholders to common goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with remote sensing, EO data, or imaging
  • Experience in cloud computing, platform development and integrations, APIs, Analytics, or UX
  • Demonstrated self-starter who initiates efforts and augments existing programs with new ideas
  • Experience working with remote, distributed, worldwide teams
  • A desire to improve processes, tools, and ways of working to scale development cycles
