Join Nerdery as a Senior Technical Recruiter specializing in Data, AI, and Cloud talent! This position requires deep experience in technical recruiting within the Data, AI, and Cloud domains and a strong understanding of related technologies. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience technical full-cycle recruiting, with a demonstrated track record of successfully recruiting Data Scientists, AI/ML Engineers, Cloud Architects, Data Engineers, and other specialized roles within the Data, AI, and Cloud domains
- Deep experience recruiting specifically for GCP environments
- Possesses a strong network of Data, AI, and Cloud professionals, with the ability to leverage those relationships to identify and attract top talent
- Strong understanding of Data, AI, and Cloud technologies, including GCP services, machine learning frameworks, data engineering pipelines, and related concepts
- Highly proficient in ATS functionality and enhancement. Experience specifically with Greenhouse ATS is a plus
- Deadline driven, communicative team player that is detail-oriented and has strong interpersonal skills
- Well-versed with working cross-functionally to help resolve hiring issues and drive hiring processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Flexible and can easily adapt to changing priorities
- Strong knowledge of the business and the industry as a whole
- Must be legally authorized to work within the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
Responsibilities
- Lead by example and help drive a high-level of performance to meet the company's ambitious hiring plans, particularly within the Data, AI, and Cloud space
- Manage individual requisition load, contributing to sourcing and hiring targets, with a strong emphasis on roles requiring expertise in GCP technologies, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and related fields
- Hands-on management of the full cycle recruiting process for all roles, ensuring a positive candidate experience and effectively conveying the value proposition of working at Nerdery
- Proactively source candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, industry events, and networking with specialized communities within the Data, AI, and Cloud ecosystems
- Build and maintain a strong network of Data, AI, and Cloud professionals
- Collaborate with internal hiring managers and technical leaders to deeply understand their hiring needs, technical requirements, and project roadmaps
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Data, AI, and Cloud technology landscape, including key players, emerging trends, and in-demand skillsets
- Resolve hiring issues, including bringing new recruiting tools and ideas to the organization, with a focus on those effective in attracting Data, AI, and Cloud talent
- Develop and implement recruiting-related programs including creative sourcing plans, with a focus on sourcing programs that generate Data, AI, and Cloud talent
- Create, maintain and manage job postings internally and externally, ensuring they accurately reflect the technical requirements and attract qualified candidates
- Ensure that recruiting stakeholders have the tools and training necessary to participate in the recruiting process
- Manage outside staffing agency relationships if necessary
- Effectively pre-board all newly hired candidates and ensure appropriate hand-off to onboarding team
- Facilitate interview and hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) β Greenhouse
- Develop strategic relationships throughout the organization
- Develop relationships with industry groups and meet-up leaders
