Summary

Join Headway's Talent Acquisition team as a Senior Manager, Technical Recruiting to scale Engineering, Product, Design, and Data functions. You will partner with leaders, manage a team of recruiters, and develop inclusive hiring practices. This is a strategic role in a hyper-growth company, focusing on identifying and securing top talent. You will leverage metrics, optimize interview processes, and collaborate with cross-functional partners. Requirements

  • 5+ years of management experience, preferably in high-growth, tech-enabled companies
  • Experience in building inclusive and diverse teams, both for recruitment and the broader business
  • Function as a business partner to hiring leaders, providing data and market intel to drive towards effective decisions together
  • Be a strategic, data-driven thinker, who analyzes sourcing stats and pipeline pass-through rates to optimize the hiring process
  • Be comfortable navigating through the inevitable ambiguity of a startup
  • Have relentless drive to improve efficiency for the team and all stakeholders
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders across technical teams to scale their departments, advising on search strategies and providing tailored, scalable solutions
  • Act as the primary owner for all technical hiring, including Engineering, Product, and Design, partnering closely with senior leadership to develop, drive, and execute staffing strategies
  • Leverage metrics to diagnose gaps and proactively provide solutions, keeping a strong pulse on Eng hiring trends and the impact it has on your funnels
  • Manage a team of recruiters and sourcers with a focus on performance and career growth, embracing Headway’s feedback culture
  • Partner with tech leadership on optimizing the structured interview process
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to resolve obstacles, improve processes, and better meet the needs of your stakeholders
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives to improve operational excellence and broader TA team efforts
