Summary

Join PENN Entertainment’s digital team as a Technical Recruiter and lead end-to-end recruitment across core engineering, data engineering, client engineering, and QA & Release engineering. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job intake to onboarding, and engage in proactive recruitment strategies to build qualified candidate pipelines. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and build strong working relationships. Utilize an ATS system like Greenhouse and tools like LinkedIn Recruiter for candidate sourcing and management. Host and attend tech and talent attraction meet-ups, and leverage data to communicate changes and provide updates to stakeholders. Connect candidates with theScore's mission and vision, and continuously strive for professional growth. This role requires extensive experience in fast-paced technical recruiting and strong relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and high business acumen.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in fast-paced technical recruiting, ideally in both in-house and agency settings
  • Ability to elicit, understand and communicate technical elements and requirements of various roles with hiring managers, candidates and other stakeholders, with a focus on creating great experiences
  • Effectively build a pipeline of candidates through creative sourcing techniques, headhunting, shortlisting, interviewing, making offers and ensuring the candidate has a positive candidate experience ( Full Cycle Recruitment )
  • Engage, build, influence and foster relationships both internally (e.g., current employees & hiring managers) and externally (e.g., candidates & community) ( Relationship Building )
  • Can support and work on a variety of roles within the organization, understand the business units, how they operate, and the effectiveness you demonstrate through hiring practices ( Hiring Flexibility )
  • Proficient in leveraging data to scope out recruitment trends, and you have the ability to interpret and use them to help make decisions and improve efficiencies ( Documentation, Reporting & Data )
  • Ability to understand the nuances of different technology stacks and how they fit into the larger product lines within the organization
  • Out-of-the-box thinking  when it comes sourcing, candidate management and candidate experience
  • Strong ability to use data to facilitate change, when necessary
  • Highly self-motivated and directed; ability to execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems
  • Ability to establish credibility, trust and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong relationship building skills with stakeholders, team members and candidates
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Exceptional organization skills and a keen attention to detail
  • High business acumen with the ability to align departmental projects & key business objectives

Responsibilities

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment process: from job intake, sourcing, scheduling to interviewing, offer negotiation, hiring and onboarding
  • Engaging in proactive recruitment strategies to generate pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future needs
  • Brainstorming, experimenting, collaborating and iterating quickly to identify and implement the right approaches in scaling up a rapidly growing division
  • Working closely with hiring managers at all levels to identify current and upcoming staffing needs and build long-lasting working relationships
  • Work with an ATS system like Greenhouse to manage the entire recruitment lifecycle while using LinkedIn Recruiter, among other tools, for passive outreach
  • Host and attend tech and talent attraction meet-ups
  • Rely on data, and your relationship building skills, to communicate changes, and update the hiring process
  • Proactively provide clear, and data-driven updates to all stakeholders
  • Connect candidates with theScore's mission, values, and product vision
  • Strong desire for continuous learning and growth
