Summary

Join Samsara as an Expense Analyst III and develop best-in-class practices for employee expense reimbursement. This remote position, open to candidates in Mexico, requires expertise in expense management systems (Concur and Expensify) and data analysis to improve efficiency and compliance. You will provide support, training, and guidance on T&E policies and systems, acting as a subject matter expert. The role involves collaborating with various departments and leading initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or years of relevant equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in travel and expense management, finance or related roles or 2+ years of experience as a Senior Expense Analyst
• Experience with expense management systems such as Concur and Expensify
• Demonstrated experience in analyzing expense data and implementing process improvements

Responsibilities

• Analyze expense data to identify trends, cost savings, and process improvements
• Provide level 2 support for the Global Travel and Expense program, develop and deliver training sessions on T&E policies
• Maintain and update T&E procedures
• Provide guidance and training on T&E policies and systems
• Act as the subject matter expert for Expensify and SAP Concur
• Support the consolidation and reimplementation of expense systems
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and other departments for system integration
• Lead initiatives to enhance T&E operational efficiency
• Maintain AI-driven audit solutions
• Monitor and report on T&E KPIs
• Support change management for T&E system updates and policy changes

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior accounts payable or expense management experience
• A technical understanding of how to configure and manage Expense Systems (or shows a willingness to learn how to administer these systems)
• Knowledge of tax and regulatory requirements related to T&E management is a plus
