Summary

Requirements

  • 5+ progressively responsible years of experience in user experience and product design, including user discovery, design prototypes and data tools (e.g., Figma and Pendo)
  • A high-level performer with a record of delivering successful projects with various teams
  • Effectively influence decisions and communicate across the business
  • Collaborate and engage the entire development team (Product, Engineers, QA) to understand the problems being solved, and include them in the ideation process
  • Design systematically (with best practices in mind)
  • Think about how features interact with the product as a whole and how it fits into the larger suite of products

Responsibilities

  • Own core initiatives, collaborating with senior team members and above
  • Use research and data to inform feature development, including leading discovery calls, designing surveys, analyzing feedback, and using qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions
  • Design simple and efficient mockups and prototypes using our design system to help communicate ideas and inform development decisions
  • Take the lead on validating design ideas, advocating for usability improvements, and facilitating design activities
  • Ensure all features have a unified look and feel to create a sense of a unified platform
  • Contribute to teams' shared knowledge of UX best practices. Share feedback to designers on teammates' designs in a constructive and supportive way. Mentor junior and mid-level designers and coach them on hard and soft skills
