Senior Ux Designer

Summary

Join ília, a technology, data, and design specialist, as a Senior UX Designer to contribute to the evolution of our Design System. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, creating guidelines, components, and standards to ensure user experience excellence across our digital products. This role requires a proven track record in building and implementing effective Design Systems and strong communication skills. The position offers a flexible 40-hour work week, fully remote, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX Design, and at least 2 years with a specific focus on Design Systems
• Practical experience in building or evolving a Design System in previous projects
• Solid knowledge of design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and prototyping
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain design concepts clearly and engagingly
• Writing skills and ability to synthesize, essential for creating documentation and guidelines
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and agile environment

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the evolution and maintenance of our Design System, ensuring it meets the needs of all products
• Collaborate with product, development, and marketing teams to integrate Design System components into new solutions and updates
• Create, document, and maintain reusable components, design patterns, and style guidelines
• Develop detailed and accessible Design System documentation, ensuring all stakeholders can use it effectively
• Conduct workshops and co-design sessions to engage stakeholders and gather feedback on the Design System
• Conduct training for teams on how to use the Design System, promoting a consistent design culture within the organization
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate and optimize existing components and guidelines
• Stay up-to-date on best design practices and industry trends to ensure our Design System remains relevant and innovative

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with front-end development or knowledge of technologies (Android, iOS, React, and Flutter)
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and user-centered design practices
• Contributions to design communities or publications related to the Design System
