Summary
Join PlantingSpace for a 6-month maternity leave replacement role as a UX designer, starting September 2025. You will contribute to the design of an innovative AI product for technical users, focusing on complex analytical tasks. The role involves working closely with the product team, conducting user research, and improving the user experience. You will assist with product planning, create customer profiles, and maintain visual consistency. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and making a real impact. There's a possibility of extending the contract based on performance and business needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on UX and interaction design for analytical products related to finance, economics, healthcare, and/or business strategy
- Thorough expertise in conducting UX research, categorising insights across user interviews and synthesising them into a coherent UX direction
Responsibilities
- Assist with product planning by helping to understand and set requirements for upcoming features, designing interfaces and preparing prototypes as needed
- Work closely with the Product team to set direction, create customer profiles and personas, and define a set of common approaches and principles for consistent, clear UX
- Participate in user research to deeply understand and set a direction for how our app can be used in analysis across various domains
- Identify and resolve existing UX issues in the app
- Maintain visual consistency by maintaining the Design System and creating components as needed to support design efforts

- Basic programming experience and/or an academic background in a quantitative domain is a plus
