Senior UX Designer

Summary

Join Rinsed, a B2B SaaS company revolutionizing the car wash industry, as a UI/UX Designer. You will play a key role in designing and developing user interfaces and experiences for our innovative subscription-based platform. Collaborate with founders and stakeholders to understand customer needs and create intuitive designs for both desktop and mobile. Your responsibilities include conducting user research, crafting wireframes and prototypes, and ensuring design consistency. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer, preferably in startups or agile development teams
• A strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX skills
• Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and Illustrator
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to articulate your design decisions
• Passion for all things UI/UX and other areas of design and innovation

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to understand the unique needs and challenges of car wash businesses and their customers
• Collaborate with the founders and stakeholders across the company to solve problems for our customers
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, mockups, and prototypes optimized for both desktop and mobile devices
• Evaluate user feedback from car wash operators and iterate designs to enhance user satisfaction and efficiency
• Craft intuitive interfaces that cater specifically to the workflows and preferences of operators and employees at car wash companies
• Ensure that our design language is consistent, visually appealing, and industry-relevant
• Collaborate with our engineering team to ensure that designs are realized to their full potential in the final product
• Actively engage in design reviews with stakeholders from the car wash industry to ensure relevance and effectiveness
• Work closely with the founders and stakeholders across the company to prioritize features and design enhancements
• Coordinate with developers to ensure that the design vision is executed accurately in the final product
• Stay informed about the latest trends in the car wash industry and how they can be incorporated into the product
• Keep updated with the latest UI/UX best practices and integrate them into our design processes
• Experiment with new tools and design methods to continuously improve and refine our work

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in Figma design software, or related, such as Sketch, Adobe XD, and Illustrator
• Ability to work with HTML, CSS, Tailwind, and JavaScript
