Summary
Donorbox is seeking a Senior UX/UI Product and Design System Designer to join their agile product team. The role involves supporting the product team with UX/UI design solutions, maintaining and upgrading the Figma design system, and owning solutions from start-to-finish. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience as a Product or UX Designer for consumer-focused product companies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product or UX Designer for consumer-focused product companies
- Strong understanding of user experience, including user interface design, design thinking, user-centered design, agile, lean, value measurement, customer outcomes, and emotive design
- Proficiency in information architecture, multi-step and cross-platform flows, and attention to detail with states, errors, successes, and dead-ends
- Experience with SaaS products, Site Builders, and Accessibility (strong differentiators)
- Fluency in Figma, mastering components, prototype creation, UI kit styles, and workflows
Responsibilities
- Support the product team with your UX/UI design solutions
- Propose solutions to enhance the overall user experience
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, UX Writers, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless and high-quality feature launches
- Ensure the end-to-end UX/UI design quality, focusing on usability, element accessibility, and overall user satisfaction
- Conduct user testing to identify root causes of user behavior, propose UX/UI improvements, and share findings with the team
- Elevate the customer experience, impacting how supporters globally engage with the nonprofits using Donorbox
- Own solutions from start-to-finish, ensuring all team members share your vision
- Perform user research and testing sessions, backing findings with data, industry trends, and competitor research
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of visual design and interaction rules, consistently producing top-quality designs
- Maintain and upgrade the Figma design system to ensure consistency across all files
