Senior UX/UI Designer

Summary

Join Hypergiant, an Accelint company, as a Senior UX/UI Designer and contribute to highly complex DoD projects. You will work alongside a team of designers, leveraging your expertise in interactive design and data visualization. Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating required skills
• 5+ years' experience in interactive design; must have experience designing and shipping desktop applications, preferably in an agency setting
• Hands on experience designing complex dashboards/data visualizations
• Ability to solve problems creatively, an interdisciplinary sensibility toward graphic, product and digital media design and an exceptional eye for detail
• Expert level understanding of information architecture, interaction design, user experience, and visual design
• Proficiency in the use of Figma as well as a willingness to learn on the job
• Excellent collaborative and brainstorming skills
• Ability to deliver high quality work on tight schedules
• Eligibility to obtain a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and ship desktop applications, preferably in an agency setting
• Design complex dashboards/data visualizations
• Solve problems creatively
• Deliver high quality work on tight schedules
• Collaborate effectively with team members
• Analyze learning needs and goals to determine instructional strategies and objectives
• Apply learning theories and principles to design engaging and interactive learning experiences
• Integrate various media elements, such as text, graphics, audio, and video, to enhance learning outcomes
• Evaluate the effectiveness of instructional materials and make revisions based on feedback and assessment data
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DoD information systems
• Developing instructional materials such as online courses, e-learning modules, training manuals, and multimedia presentations
• Experience in prototyping
• Portfolio that highlights design systems created or largely contributed to
• Track record of creating and managing impactful design systems and processes
• Experience with various platforms and operating systems
