Summary
Join Hypergiant, an Accelint company, as a Senior UX/UI Designer and contribute to highly complex DoD projects. You will work alongside a team of designers, leveraging your expertise in interactive design and data visualization. Requirements
- Portfolio demonstrating required skills
- 5+ years' experience in interactive design; must have experience designing and shipping desktop applications, preferably in an agency setting
- Hands on experience designing complex dashboards/data visualizations
- Ability to solve problems creatively, an interdisciplinary sensibility toward graphic, product and digital media design and an exceptional eye for detail
- Expert level understanding of information architecture, interaction design, user experience, and visual design
- Proficiency in the use of Figma as well as a willingness to learn on the job
- Excellent collaborative and brainstorming skills
- Ability to deliver high quality work on tight schedules
- Eligibility to obtain a security clearance
Responsibilities
- Design and ship desktop applications, preferably in an agency setting
- Design complex dashboards/data visualizations

- Collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DoD information systems
- Developing instructional materials such as online courses, e-learning modules, training manuals, and multimedia presentations
- Experience in prototyping
- Portfolio that highlights design systems created or largely contributed to
- Track record of creating and managing impactful design systems and processes
- Experience with various platforms and operating systems
