Requirements

  • Typically 5 to 7 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience
  • Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and Sketch
  • A keen eye for storytelling and the ability to translate complex concepts into visually engaging narratives
  • Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and user experience best practices
  • Ability to present and justify designs that align with industry standards and previous campaign data
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Works independently and can complete projects on time with minimal direction
  • Strong understanding of industry practices
  • High proficiency with tools, systems, and procedure
  • Good planning/organizational skills and techniques
  • Good decision making, analysis and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good presentation and public speaking skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good conflict resolution skills and ability to deliver difficult messages
  • Ability to build partnerships at all levels within the company, begin to build partnerships externally
  • Resolve complex issues in effective ways

Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling visual narratives that communicate complex technical information in a clear, motivational, and engaging manner
  • Conceptualize and create stunning print and digital branded communications, including illustrations, infographics, animations, presentations, and interactive experiences that align with business goals
  • Contribute to the evolution of our brand identity by developing consistent visual language across all touchpoints
  • Develop templates and tools to help maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Work cross-functionally to translate business objectives into compelling visual designs
  • Guide and mentor junior colleagues and design contractors, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or global equivalent a plus
  • Prior experience designing for audiences in the medical technology industry preferred but not required
