Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a front-end developer in a fast-paced environment, specializing in WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Node/NPM, Webpack, and Tailwind CSS
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in business English and Spanish
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Keen attention to detail with a track record of delivering projects on-time and within budget
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and optimizing responsive websites
• Understanding of CSS changes and their implications across platforms and browsers

Responsibilities

• Build, extend, maintain, and optimize our marketing website using the WordPress CMS
• Develop page types, taxonomy language, and menu systems based on wireframes and project requirements
• Lead and mentor a junior WordPress developer
• Configure goals, triggers, and tracking snippets in our A/B testing tool, VWO
• Convert designs into component-based HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Implement technical SEO best practices to enhance site visibility
• Understand and implement UI/UX standards for high-velocity transactions
• Participate in all stages of development, testing, implementation, and maintenance
• Handle daily tasks such as CMS updates, template creation, and WordPress maintenance
• Manage the website back-end, including database and integrations with Marketo and Salesforce
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement solutions
• Regularly patch WordPress and associated plugins, addressing vulnerabilities promptly
• Conduct periodic vulnerability scans and act on alerts
