Requirements

• Should have experience working as part of a team
• Minimum of 2 years experience in SEO
• Minimum of 2 years experience with Google Spreadsheets
• Minimum of 2 years experience utilizing WordPress
• Proficiency with Google Spreadsheets & Excel formulas
• Strong project management skills
• Strong English written communication skills. Resume must be in English to be considered
• Fast typing speed and knowledge of keyboard shortcuts for efficiency
• Requires reliable internet access
• Passion and drive to continuously learn new skills and take on new challenges
• Flexibility & Adaptability to take on and handle other tasks or projects as assigned

Responsibilities

• Think critically to pitch content based on our clients’ SEO keywords
• Scrape & Search the Web for Ideal Publisher networking opportunities
• Investigate and hunt down contact information for various websites and other publishers to network with
• Work closely with the editors & reports of our newsrooms various channels to identify publishing opportunities for them with the potential for long-term blogging relationships
• Optimize content published on our digital newsroom
• Strong news judgment coupled with the ability to identify stories that will interest the brands’ audiences
• Analyze top performing content from the Consumer Magazine publishers to locate networking opportunities
• The SEO Link Builder role is NOT a client-facing position

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Analytics certification is a plus
• Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and SEMrush experience is a plus
• Knowledge of Google Search Operators and an expert Googler
• Understanding of the major and minor publishers and trending topics in the world of emerging tech and lifestyle
• Copywriting experience (a plus)
• Demonstrates ability to get things done
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Well-organized and self-managed, good at managing and juggling projects
• Communicates reliably about the status of a project

• We're currently looking for team members who are able to overlap hours with our office on the US East Coast (click the link to view our current time from Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
• Asia (Philippines / Indonesia) 3:30 pm - 12 Midnight your local time (3:30 am - noon EDT, or 2:30 am - 11 am EST depending on the time of year). The half-hour break may be taken anytime between 6 pm - 8 pm local time
