SEO Manager

Summary

Zicasso is seeking an experienced SEO professional for a remote, freelance contractor position to lead and execute their SEO strategy. The role requires 4-8 years of experience in SEO, web analytics, marketing, and business development. The candidate should have expertise in various SEO tools, be a critical thinker, problem solver, team player, and have good time management skills.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience as SEO Manager, SEO Specialist, or similar role
• Proven success in SEO
• 4-8 years of experience in web analytics, marketing, and business development
• Expertise in A/B and other testing methods
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics, GSC; experience with SEMRush/Ahrefs, 3rd party crawlers and similar tools, plus SEO AI tools such as Surfer SEO
• In-depth knowledge of research principles and methods, and significant experience in analyzing data
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
• Proven project management skills for multiple ongoing projects and tasks
• Critical thinker and problem-solver
• Strong Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Bachelor’s in Marketing or similar field required. Alternatively, relevant coursework or certifications in SEO, digital marketing, or web technologies will be considered

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and execute Zicasso’s SEO strategy
• Implement SEO initiatives such as website content optimization, deep keyword research, and more
• Monitor website performance and user behavior, identify and implement opportunities to improve organic search results and ROI
• Perform competitor analysis on a regular basis to identify communication best strategies and SEO opportunities
• Prepare and present regular reports on SEO performance, identify and implement solutions to SEO challenges and issues
• Collaborate with marketing, content, development, partnerships, and traveler care teams to improve SEO processes and productivity
