Requirements

  • The ideal candidate is self-reliant and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
  • Experience in SEO, familiarity with CMS platforms, and a methodical approach to optimization are key
  • 3+ years of SEO or related experience
  • A track record of increasing traffic & conversion rates for businesses with local SEO strategies
  • Experience working within CMS platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable having 1:1 meetings with shop owners

Responsibilities

  • As an SEO Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the online visibility and search engine ranking of the websites we build for our auto repair shop clients
  • Your role involves conducting thorough SEO audits, implementing on-page and off-page optimization strategies, and analyzing website performance to drive organic traffic
  • SEO Tool Management: Use tools like SEMrush, Surfer, Insights, BizmapIQ, Agency Analytics, and Marketers Center to audit, monitor, and optimize SEO performance
  • Indexing & Technical SEO: Manage indexing via Google Search Console; resolve crawl issues and ensure optimal site visibility
  • Keyword & Content Optimization: Track keyword rankings and update content to reflect search trends and performance goals
  • Traffic & Engagement Analysis: Monitor user behavior and traffic trends to inform content and design strategies
  • Client Reporting: Build and deliver clear, insightful performance reports for clients on a regular basis
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Run A/B tests and analyze heatmaps to improve content/design for better conversions
  • Link Building: Develop and execute white-hat link-building strategies to boost domain authority
  • Competitor Research: Analyze competitor strategies to uncover opportunities and refine our approach
  • Local SEO: Manage and optimize listings on platforms like Google Business Profile and Yelp for local visibility
  • Client Communication: Lead 1:1 meetings with shop owners to discuss progress, align goals, and strategize
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with Dev and QA teams to ensure technical SEO is integrated from the ground up
  • Stay Current: Keep up with SEO trends, Google updates, and AI search evolution to keep strategies sharp
