Summary

The job involves assisting in the operation of a department, performing routine technical duties in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing building automation systems. The position requires at least 3 years of relevant work experience, strong communication skills, and a self-starter attitude. Requirements

• 3 or more years of relevant work experience in the field or related area
• Self-starter attitude that is inquisitive, intuitive and has a willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to document daily tasks, plan and prepare for tasks assigned
• Commitment to our “open door” policy and regular contact with field employees
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation
• Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities
• High ethical standards, strong values, integrity, drive to deliver results, pride in personal and team performance, decision quality, building effective teams, and action orientation are fundamental imperatives

Responsibilities

• Assists in the troubleshooting and repairs of building-automation-system field cabinets
• Assists in performing preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
• Assists in developing system backups
• Assists in working on computers, monitors and network devices as assigned
• Performs scheduled and emergency calls as assigned
• Perform all above and other tasks following Company and customer safety standards
• Complete all training opportunities provided
• Reports to work on time and ready to perform assigned tasks
• Maintains company tools, test equipment and material
• Maintain and track inventory on vehicle as assigned. Deliver material as required
• Looks for opportunities to keep the project / assignment moving forward or additional business
• Complete work order documentation and other site documentation as required
• Support a performance-based culture, both team and individual, to assure continuous improvement and alignment with enterprise vision, mission, and objectives
• Ensure that all quality and safety standards, specifications and policies are met, drive continuous improvements, and collaborate with the team to drive efficiencies
• Support a culture based on open/honest dialogue and involvement with all team members that demonstrates the value of their input and engagement in improving performance
