Summary

BayNova is seeking a ServiceNow Business Process Consultant to join their team for a long-term federal government project. Key responsibilities include consultation, solution design, process optimization, stakeholder management, and training. Qualifications require ServiceNow certifications (CSA & CIS-ITSM), at least 4 years' experience with the ServiceNow platform, in-depth understanding of ITSM processes, excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and US citizenship or Green Card holder with 3+ years' residency.

Requirements

  • ServiceNow certifications required: Certified System Administrator (CSA) & Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM)
  • At least 4 years’ experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including expertise in configuring workflows, service catalog, and reporting
  • In-depth understanding of ServiceNow IT service management (ITSM) processes, IT operations, and related industry frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
  • Citizenship or Work Authorization Required: US Citizen or Green Card holder with 3+ years' residency

Responsibilities

  • Consultation and Requirements Gathering: Engage with clients to understand their business needs, goals, and challenges. Conduct workshops and interviews to gather requirements and identify process improvement opportunities
  • Solution Design and Configuration: Utilize your deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform to design and configure solutions that align with client requirements
  • Process Optimization and Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities using ServiceNow features and functionalities
  • Stakeholder Management and Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to ensure a thorough understanding of requirements and alignment on solution designs
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate clients on ServiceNow functionality and best practices. Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials to support ongoing knowledge transfer

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow modules, such as IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Business Management (ITBM/SPM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), or Human Resources (HR), is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, analyze complex business processes, and design solutions that meet client needs
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive process improvements
  • Experience in business process consulting or process improvement projects is advantageous
  • Preferred Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
