Summary

Join VirtualResource as a Senior ServiceNow Consultant to lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide training and support. Remote work is available in South Africa, Europe, or the United Kingdom.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform in a consulting role
• Proven track record of successful ServiceNow implementations and upgrades
• Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, SecOps, and others
• Proficiency in ServiceNow development including scripting (JavaScript, Glide), UI policies, business rules, and workflow automation
• Experience with integration tools and methodologies (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, etc.)
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong project management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and configuration of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, SecOps, and others as required
• Oversee the development of custom applications and integrations within the ServiceNow platform
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for ServiceNow projects
• Provide expert advice on ServiceNow capabilities and best practices to maximize value and efficiency
• Design and architect ServiceNow solutions that align with business goals and objectives
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, technical specifications, and user guides
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement
• Perform regular platform upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities to ensure stability and security
• Provide training and mentorship to junior consultants and end-users
• Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance for ServiceNow-related issues
