Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • Must be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow App Engine development and Service Portal customization
  • Experience in ServiceNow integrations with enterprise applications
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting, and automation
  • Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow Scripting API
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify technical solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with system performance optimization and security best practices
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications to meet business requirements
  • Implement ServiceNow App Engine, Service Portal, and other relevant modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and SecOps
  • Develop and maintain workflows, UI policies, UI actions, business rules, client scripts, and catalog items using JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow APIs
  • Perform integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers
  • Work within an Agile development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring system stability and performance
  • Follow ServiceNow best practices to maintain system integrity, security, and performance optimization
  • Document technical specifications, configurations, and development processes
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing HR systems within ServiceNow
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Flow Designer, and Scoped Applications
  • Familiarity with ATF (Automated Test Framework) for quality assurance
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow
