Summary

Join our team as a Federal SharePoint Project Manager and lead the design, development, and implementation of SharePoint solutions for federal clients. You will manage end-to-end projects, communicate with stakeholders, allocate resources, and ensure compliance with federal standards. This role requires strong technical expertise in SharePoint and project management skills. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and training. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about digital transformation, and thrives in a collaborative environment. This is a full-time, remote position requiring an Active Public Trust Clearance.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Have 5+ years of project management experience, with a focus on SharePoint projects
  • Have hands-on experience managing SharePoint implementations in federal environments
  • Demonstrate proven success delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Possess a strong understanding of SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2019/2016, and related technologies such as Power Automate, Power BI, and Teams
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of federal IT compliance standards, including Section 508 and FISMA
  • Possess exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Have experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies
  • Be proficient in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar)
  • Have an Active Public Trust Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for federal clients on SharePoint project initiatives
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables exceed client expectations
  • Oversee the design, configuration, and deployment of SharePoint solutions, including intranets, workflows, and document management systems
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions to understand client needs and translate them into technical specifications
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure SharePoint solutions are built according to requirements and adhere to best practices
  • Monitor project performance and resolve issues to ensure successful project completion
  • Ensure all projects comply with federal standards, including Section 508, security requirements, and governance policies
  • Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders
  • Facilitate training sessions and documentation for end-users to ensure seamless adoption of SharePoint solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess PMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management certification
  • Possess Microsoft SharePoint certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Application Developer)
  • Have familiarity with working under Public Trust, DOD, or other federal agency clearance processes

Benefits

$130,000 - $145,000 a year
