Summary

Join CALSTART as a Project Manager supporting the Zero-Emission School Bus & Infrastructure incentive program (ZESBI)! You will be responsible for processing ZESBI vouchers, ensuring data accuracy, and managing stakeholders. This role requires excellent emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills to develop application flows, SOPs, and KPIs. You will also be responsible for daily correspondence with applicants. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in relevant fields and proficiency in program management tools. CALSTART offers a competitive salary and generous benefits.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in Business administration, finance, accounting, environmental science, or data entry
  • 1-3 years working with multiple stakeholder groups on joint projects
  • 1-2 years as initiative owner self-directing work and tasks as functional project lead
  • Ability to comfortably work independently with minimal oversight
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and associated stakeholders simultaneously (Stakeholder management)
  • Proficiency in program management tools including Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)

Responsibilities

  • Process ZESBI Vouchers (1,000+ school bus and infrastructure, $500M program)
  • Responsible for editing and completing the ZESBI Voucher Processing Handbook
  • Building and creating new standard operating procedures (SOPs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Identifying and submitting backend system (Salesforce) process improvement recommendations
  • Daily correspondence with applicants via email, phone, or video

Preferred Qualifications

  • Transportation & / or Zero-Emission experience
  • Grant management or voucher processing
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce)
