Summary

Join Docker's remote-first team as a social media copywriter for a 6–7 month, 20-hour-per-week contract. You will create platform-native copy for various channels, translate technical content into engaging social posts, curate existing content, collaborate with design and video teams, maintain consistent brand voice, and stay updated on product and GTM calendars. The role requires 3–5+ years of B2B or product-focused social copywriting experience, a deep understanding of platform tone norms, and a portfolio of high-performing social posts. • Experience turning technical material into engaging social copy
• Portfolio of scroll-stopping, high-performing B2B social posts

Responsibilities

• Writes platform-native copy to support Docker’s product-focused content, including blogs, launch announcements, webinars, events, and partner stories
• Translates technical and campaign material into clear, engaging, and scroll-stopping social posts tailored for LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, YouTube, and emerging platforms
• Curates and repackages existing product marketing content to fit Docker’s brand voice and audience needs across dev teams and decision-makers
• Collaborates with design and video to develop asset packages that feel organic and valuable; not promotional
• Maintains consistency of tone while experimenting with content formats that spark engagement, build trust, and drive traffic to key initiatives
• Stays plugged into product and GTM calendars to ensure timely social amplification and optimized sequencing across posts

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with developer personas a major plus
