Summary

The job is for a Social Media Associate at Dr. Squatch, a fast-growing men's personal care company. The role involves creating engaging content for various social media platforms, collaborating with the Social Content Team, and analyzing performance data. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Video Production, strong editing skills, be up-to-date with social trends, comfortable performing on camera, and experienced in creating content for social media platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Video production preferred
• Strong editing skillset in Premiere Pro, TikTok, Photoshop, and CapCut
• Someone who is up to date with social trends, memes, pop culture
• Someone who is comfortable performing on camera and has an electric on-camera personality
• Experience with creating content for social media platforms, including (but not limited to) TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
• Excellent filming/video editing skills and audio editing experience
• Excellent writing and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Create fun and engaging content for our organic social channels: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
• Content includes videos, tweets, and meme images
• Create educational content for company products and our giveback program
• Create promotional content for Dr. Squatch products, sales, and partnerships
• Research current memes and trends to produce topical social content
• Regularly engage with our followers and UGC with the Dr. Squatch brand voice to connect with our community
• Collaborate with the Social Content Team
• Analyze performance on a weekly basis and provide recommendations based on data
• Assist the Social Media Manager with other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferred
• Possess a passion for visual storytelling and a desire to learn more
