Social Media Intern

Summary

The job is for a social media intern at WEBTOON who will create content ideas, write copy, and manage social media platforms. The position is based in Los Angeles, California and offers hands-on marketing experience in a professional environment.

Requirements

• You’re deeply engaged in WEBTOON and entertainment, especially with action, fantasy, anime, and gaming
• You must be knowledgeable about social media platforms from the brand perspective, including (but not limited to) TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram

Responsibilities

• Pitch content ideas that entertain and engage action, fantasy, anime, and gaming fans as well as comic fans
• Assist with a large volume of short-form video content to be distributed via TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels
• Write copy for our owned-and-operated channels based on our brand personality
• Update and track multiple content creation and upload schedules to ensure timely delivery of creative assets
• Schedule, organize, and monitor content performance with social media management tools (e.g. Sprinklr)
• Help optimize YouTube thumbnails, video titles, and video descriptions for owned-and-operated and influencer channels
