You will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies across multiple platforms, creating engaging content, and analyzing performance metrics. This role requires a strong understanding of social media best practices, excellent copywriting skills, and proven experience in growing organic audiences. The position offers a remote work opportunity and a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $170,000. You will play a key role in shaping ChargePoint's social media presence and contributing to the company's success in the rapidly growing electric vehicle market. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience and a passion for the EV industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
- 5-10 years of social media experience, preferably a mix of B2B and B2C
- Expert knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads) and best practices; passionate about the industry
- Strong copywriting skills; ability to write compelling on-brand copy quickly
- High attention to detail and ability to execute precisely while managing multiple priorities
- World-class project management skills, with an eye for detail
- Track record of growing audiences organically and driving social media engagement
- A strong ability to provide clear creative direction
- Ability to leverage data to inform creative and copy
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive editorial calendar for all channels (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads), focusing on growth, engagement and brand visibility
- Execution of the editorial calendar and posting schedule, overseeing content development with social media agency support
- Develop captivating copy and creative assets that embody the brand's voice, resonating with and energizing the EV charging community
- Daily monitoring of social media activity to foster engagement and address inquiries, creating tickets for Support team as needed
- Regularly analyze and track social performance metrics to assess effectiveness and refine strategies
- Curate employee advocacy content by empowering employees to act as ChargePoint advocates
- Social support for marketing campaigns as needed
- Provide support to Communications team on internal Town Halls meetings as needed
