Summary
Join Kaizen Gaming, a leading GameTech company, as their Social Media Manager for Betano in Colombia. You will develop and implement a data-driven organic social media strategy, manage the content calendar, execute organic campaigns, and analyze performance using tools like Sprout and Brandwatch. This role involves leading influencer marketing, creating real-time content, and collaborating with various teams. You will also contribute to content translation and localization. Weekend availability is required due to major sporting events. The ideal candidate possesses extensive social media management experience, particularly within the sports or online betting industries.
Requirements
- Experience on producing social media content firsthand and a proven track record of managing and growing sports or sports betting communities
- At least 3 years of experience in social media management and/or digital content, preferably in the entertainment, sports, or online betting industries
- Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices (Instagram, Meta, X, YouTube, etc.) and content formats
- Experience with social media listening and performance tools (e.g., Sprout, Brandwatch, or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and influence without direct authority
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a data-driven organic social media strategy aligned with the brandโs global and local objectives
- Manage and optimize the content calendar, ensuring relevant, engaging, and platform-adapted posts (Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
- Execute organic campaigns focused on awareness, engagement, and community building, using Betanoโs content pillars
- Use tools like Sprout, Brandwatch, or similar to measure performance (reach, engagement, conversions) and deliver monthly reports with insights and recommendations
- Lead the local influencer marketing strategy by identifying creators, building strategic partnerships, and boosting organic reach
- Activate real-time content (reactive marketing), leveraging trends and key moments in sports and entertainment
- Collaborate with Marketing, CRM, Sponsorship, and Product teams to align brand messaging across all channels
- Contribute to the translation and localization of global content (web, app, CRM), ensuring an authentic and relevant local voice
- Be fully available to work on weekends, especially Saturdays and Sundays, as this is when most major sporting events take place
Preferred Qualifications
- People management and stakeholder engagement experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with AI-powered content creation tools is a nice-to-have
