Requirements
- 7+ years of development experience
- 5+ years of development experience using Microsoft .NET/ASP.NET, Xamarin/.NET Maui, WPF, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or higher
- Working knowledge and project experience using C#, C++, JavaScript, Angular, React, HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, and restful web services to create web and mobile applications
- Familiarity with VMWare, Atlassian, Jira, Confluence, Docker, and/or Microsoft DevOps
- Understanding of relational databases and modeling concepts
- Development, refinement, and maintenance of services for integration with web/desktop/mobile applications
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues including security incidents
- Project experience collaborating with Business Analysts to refine and translate requirements into solutions
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with an interdisciplinary team
- Bachelorβs degree or higher in IT, Business Management, degree in public health/informatics or related field
Responsibilities
- Provide software development expertise and conduct design and code activities within a matrixed team environment
- Participate in agile and hybrid agile methodologies
- Create and execute unit tests and support system test activities through collaborative teamwork
- Develop, test, and support web-based application (mobile/desktop), middleware, and services development using HTML5 and .NET
- Perform database systems development and testing using MS SQL Server database
- Design, architect, and integrate systems with internal and multiple external systems
- Create supporting system and database documentation in accordance with CDC guidance
- Implement web metrics tools and components to track user and site behavior
- Develop with adherence to Section 508 requirements and guidelines
- Support migration of code and data from on premises to the cloud, specifically Microsoft Azure
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with the Centers for Disease Control environment and standards: SDLC, technical architecture, release processes
- Experience with occupational safety applications (NIOSH)
