Remote Software Developer, Backend

Summary

Join our team as a Software Developer Backend at Trackforce Valiant + TrackTik, where you'll collaborate with skilled developers to design, scale, and deliver new features and services. We're seeking a talented individual with strong back-end development experience and skills in modern PHP frameworks, REST API's, JSON Schemas, and AWS services.

Requirements

• 5 + years of back-end development experience
• Experience with modern PHP frameworks, preferably Symfony
• Experience building REST API’s
• Familiar with JSON Schemas, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth
• Comfortable with AWS services such as SQS and Lambdas
• Knowledge of Node JS and TypeScript is a plus
• Practical experience optimizing relational databases, preferably MySQL
• Experience writing tests (Unit, Integration and Functional tests)
• Experience working in an agile environment/squad

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a skilled team of software developers to design, scale and deliver new features and services
• Work closely with the Tech Lead, Product Manager, and Scrum Master to ensure efficient delivery and maintain a healthy team dynamic
• Champion best practices in both design and coding, with a strong emphasis on quality, organization, and automation
