Summary

The job description is for a Software Developer Backend role at Trackforce Valiant + TrackTik, a global physical security workforce management SaaS company. Requirements

5 + years of back-end development experience
Experience with modern PHP frameworks, preferably Symfony
Experience building REST API’s
Familiar with JSON Schemas, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth
Comfortable with AWS services such as SQS and Lambdas
Practical experience optimizing relational databases, preferably MySQL
Experience writing tests (Unit, Integration and Functional tests)
Ability to lead by example, influencing and mentoring junior developers
Good communicator, you understand your job goes beyond only coding your tickets
Self-starter with a lot of initiative; we won’t be watching your every move, show us what you’ve got!

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a skilled team of software developers to design, scale and deliver new features and services
Work closely with the Tech Lead, Product Manager, and Scrum Master to ensure efficient delivery and maintain a healthy team dynamic
Champion best practices in both design and coding, with a strong emphasis on quality, organization, and automation

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Yii Framework is a plus
Knowledge of Node JS and TypeScript is a plus
