Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or another technical major, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience leading SDETs and 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a significant focus on test automation for both consumer and enterprise applications
• Expertise in automation methodology and test automation tools
• An expert in at least one language (preferably in Ruby or Javascript)
• Significant experience in developing automation solutions for mobile, browser, API, and cloud based environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and remote work environment, handling dynamic challenges with a problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities

• Actively own test and quality automation architecture and strategy across the organization
• Lead a team of SDETs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and career growth while ensuring high performance through regular evaluations and feedback
• Work closely with both technical and non-technical leaders across the company to advance automation solutions
• Effectively manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external augmentation resources, including potential overseas teams
• Spearhead the development and implementation of the automation testing roadmap in collaboration with managers and development teams
• Lead scrum sessions to track and celebrate automation sprint achievements
• Contribute directly to the planning and execution of test automation projects
• Maintain a hands-on role in the coding and troubleshooting of automation scripts and frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of test automation for data driven applications
• Familiarity with OWASP standards and ISO/SOC2 compliance
