Software Development Engineer in Test

We're looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to improve our automation, QA processes, and best practices. If you have experience in automation testing, JavaScript/TypeScript, and are an expert in automation best practices, this might be the perfect fit.

Requirements

• Have at least 3 years of experience in automation testing for both frontend and backend platforms
• Know your way around JavaScript / TypeScript, and feel comfortable working with them
• Are an expert in automation best practices, coding standards, Git, GitHub, and the PR process
• Have hands-on experience with at least one testing framework like Cypress or Playwright (we use both)
• Have worked with REST, GraphQL APIs, CI/CD pipelines and automated Nest.js
• Are more than familiar with integration, functional, end-to-end, and API automation tests
• Are an independent problem solver, but also an excellent team player
• Pay attention to details, can handle automating complex features, and aren't afraid to speak up when something needs improvement
• Know how to write SQL queries along with data consistency and integrity in relational databases
• Have a good command of English (written & spoken) and Polish (at least B1 level)

Responsibilities

• Work with our team of experienced QAs, developers, and product managers to make sure everything we deliver is absolutely top quality
• Improve our existing automation, QA processes, and best practices by working closely with different stakeholders
• Take ownership of all automation needs within one of our key Business Units, covering both frontend and backend
• Automate new features to ensure proper coverage and support go-live with high quality standards
• Be responsible for maintaining and improving existing automation tests and expanding them as needed
