Software Engineer

Summary

Join Fluence's software engineering team as a Junior API developer for web applications, working on the Nispera Asset Performance Management (APM) platform. The role will be based in Bangalore and report to the Nispera software engineering team.

Requirements

• BSc or higher in computer science or a closely related field
• At least one year of professional experience in API development
• Proficiency in Node.js
• Experience in relational databases and Linux environments
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Implementation of containerized Rest API applications
• Documentation of containerized Rest API applications
• Maintenance of containerized Rest API applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the energy industry
• Hands-on experience in other programming languages and frameworks (Python, Javascript, Typescript, Nest.js )
• Experience in working and delivering products and services in agile environments
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services
• Experience in containerisation and micro-services architectures
