Summary

Join Symmetrio in representing a global leader in oncology software solutions, where you will take on a high-performing Software Sales Executive role focused on the Mid-Atlantic region. This remote, field-based position offers the opportunity to manage a territory with significant growth potential, selling innovative software that directly benefits clinicians, streamlines workflows, and enhances cancer care delivery. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving new business within hospitals, academic centers, and oncology-focused providers. Collaboration with internal teams for product demonstrations, RFP responses, and implementation support is also expected. The role requires maintaining detailed CRM records and providing accurate pipeline and forecast updates. A competitive base salary plus commission structure is offered, with an OTE of $260K.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software sales experience, preferably in healthcare or life sciences
  • Experience selling into complex healthcare environments (IDNs, cancer centers, health systems)
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota in a consultative sales environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel throughout the region up to 70%

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and needs assessment to proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level, IT, clinical, and administrative decision-makers
  • Drive new business with hospitals, academic centers, and oncology-focused care providers
  • Partner with internal teams for product demonstrations, RFP responses, and implementation support
  • Maintain detailed records in CRM and deliver accurate pipeline and forecast updates

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of oncology workflows, radiotherapy systems, or medical software
