Solution Architect

Summary

Join ClickHouse, a leading open-source database company, as their first Solution Architect in LatAm! This remote role, based in São Paulo, Brazil, offers the chance to shape the company's cloud-first vision in the region. You will work directly with clients, providing expert technical guidance and building a strong user community. Responsibilities include designing solutions, acting as a trusted advisor, and driving new initiatives to maximize customer value. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience with open-source software, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure, along with fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Requirements

• 10+ years of experience at a minimum with Open Source Software business models and proficiency in Cloud and Infrastructure software is a minimum requirement
• Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems
• Experience with creating POCs and reference implementations
• Fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Comfortable working with complex business and technological requirements and translating into the design of solutions, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise scale architecture
• Working directly with customers at every layer of their organization (C Suite to data scientists and developers) and acting as a trusted advisor for our users
• Articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of both the company and products, and secure strategic commercial commitments
• Use a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers
• Identify and drive new initiatives that enable customers to turn their data into actionable business value and align these initiatives with their business outcomes for continued success
• Working with partners to help scale the business and build a strong technical ecosystem to support our customers in the region

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with any of the major cloud providers
• Experience with database programming and data models
