Solutions Architect

Summary

Join Databricks as an Enterprise Solutions Architect and help large enterprises become more data-driven. Work with the Enterprise Account Executive to define and direct the technical strategy for key accounts, leading to wider adoption of ML & AI. Leverage your experience in value selling, technical account management, and technical leadership to maximize success. You will be the main technical voice for Databricks, working with multiple clients to guide them on a transformational journey. Build a movement of technical champions within accounts and align technical strategies around Databricks solutions. This role requires strong technical skills in big data, data science, and cloud technologies, as well as experience with large, global accounts.

Requirements

• Proficiency at establishing virtual teams, and leading them to ultimate success within the account
• Experience working very large (> $1m ARR), global accounts
• Form relationships with executives and influencers
• Present a convincing point-of-view to important decision-makers that leads them down a path of success
• Technical in big data, data science and cloud
• An ability in data-driven business transformation, and driving change with data
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala or Java

Responsibilities

• Work with multiple clients as the main technical voice for Databricks
• Lead your customers on a transformational journey, helping them to evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their strategy
• Implement the technical strategy in the account, in close understanding of the strategy
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions
• Provide structured mentorship for other team members
• Gain the respect of your peers based on your experience, insight, and contributions
