Requirements

  • Strong technical background in designing Layer 2 and Layer 3 network architectures, preferably with a background in enterprise cloud deployments
  • Experience in working with or consulting on services deployed on live networks
  • Strong customer presentation and public speaking capabilities; small groups to workshop level events
  • Understanding of Carrier Networks in terms of connectivity across NAM
  • Ability to travel to meet customers around NAM region

Responsibilities

  • Support sales opportunities for Megaport by creating and delivering demonstrations to customers and cloud sales partners, product education and presentations for use by the Sales Team, specifically as it pertains to integration with our cloud partners, Routing, Firewall and SD-WAN product sets
  • Ability to understand and articulate partner and customer business requirements, develop corresponding solution architecture design leveraging Megaport and partner services. Lead technical workshops with partners and/or end-users
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Megaport product and solutions, competitive products, as well as the products of our key cloud services partners (Azure, AWS, Google, Oracle, OVH, Alibaba, IBM, Nutanix, SAP) and transfer such knowledge to the Sales and Marketing team as well as to our authorized sales partners
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Megaport Virtual Edge and partner Routing, Firewall and SD-WAN solutions. Build relationships with these vendors such as Cisco, VMware, Aruba, Versa, Palo Alto and Fortinet
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Megaportโ€™s software, API, and be able to engage in technical discussions with our customers, prospects, and prospective partners
  • Partner and collaborate with the broader European sales team to drive Partner Vantage relationships
  • Autonomy over developing network architecture content for external partners
  • Working with our partners to develop restful API and Terraform integrations, while enhancing Megaportโ€™s current offerings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in designing or deploying cloud/virtualization solutions in enterprise customer environments is highly desired
  • Hands on experience with Terraform and API integrations is a plus
  • Experience working within the Enterprise software market, ISP or Internet industries is highly desired
  • Bilingual in French & English will be highly advantageous
