Requirements

• Financial Services Experience : Professional experience working with financial institutions, specifically with core banking systems, loan origination, and servicing solutions
• Event-Driven Architecture : Strong experience designing and implementing event-driven architecture patterns and solutions
• Banking & Finance Industry Knowledge : General understanding of the banking and finance industry, including regulatory requirements and business processes
• 2+ year professional experience with Kubernetes
• 2+ year professional experience with Azure DevOps
• Minimum 6+ years of total professional experience in software engineering
• At Least 1 full year of professional working experience as a Software Architect
• At least 2 years professional working experience architecting, building, and deploying software solutions on Microsoft Azure
• At least 3 years of hands on coding professional experience in one of the following languages: C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Golang
• Professional experience with developing RESTful APIs
• Professional experience with multiple database management systems such as relational, non-relational, graph

Responsibilities

• Work remotely in a hybrid and collaborative environment from 9:00am-5:00pm EST
• Engineer production-quality code to deploy these solutions on a platform specific for the client
• Design and architect solutions for mortgage and financial services projects, including core banking systems, loan origination, and servicing solutions
• Develop event-driven architecture solutions to support scalable financial services platforms
• Enhance testing platforms, improve test automation, foster software craftsmanship
• Develop technical architecture and suggest the appropriate cloud services and frameworks to accomplish product goals
• Surprise and delight customers and partner software engineers
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of our solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience working in a consulting environment preferred
• Professional experience working with Microsoft Power Apps or other services in the Microsoft Power Platform is a huge plus
• Experience with financial services messaging standards (ISO 20022, SWIFT, FIX)
• Knowledge of financial regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
• Experience with real-time payment systems and processing
